Hi hate to be silly but have you read the manual? do a google on your printer and at the end type in manual and you will then get a PDF file to download, save it to your desktop and in the workshop manual it will tell you how to do anything on your printer.

Replaced black, would not print black, deep clean times two and still the same problem. What can I do?

Hi, the print head needs to be removed and washed with warm water, Please check the manual for print head removal and re-installation. Also print head alignment must be done on re-installation. The process sounds complicating but is quite simple. Do as if you are replacing a ink cartridge. When the print head is at centre in this process and stops.Switch power off on printer.Remove the cartridges, then remove the print head, wash in warm water carefully, do not use any brush or do hard rubbing, dab dry on paper towel. Replace print head into printer, then cartridges, then switch power on. Do print head alignment, clean print head once and print test pattern. Hope this helps as it has worked for me and is still working. All the best.

Solution: Install the print head and ink tanks correctly iP3000 / i560

Seat the print head Below is the procedure for seating the print head and ink tanks:
  1. Power on the printer.

  2. Open the paper output tray and top cover.

Note: Gently open the paper output tray while holding it.

  3. After confirming that the print head holder has moved to the center, open the inner cover.

  4. Remove the orange tape securing the print head lock lever, and raise the print head lock lever.

Note: If the top cover is left open for more than 10 minutes, the print head holder will move to the right. If this occurs, close the top cover once and then re-open it.

  6. Set the print head into the print head holder, and lower the print head lock lever until a click sound is made.

Canon Pixma IP4000 cyan ink will not flow even though I have repeatedly cleaned and deep cleaned and replaced ink tank.

If you have gone through the process of cleaning and deep cleaning, as described by canon, and you still get no ink flow after printing 2-3 pages, the print head needs to be replaced.
Here is WHO to contact and HOW to install the print head:

Xerox Phaser 8400 fault code 07.010.43.75941 is it worth fixing?

YES. It is just a print head pivot problem.
And the most likely problem would be found by removing , ( looking from the front) the left side cover. About mid way back toward the bottom of the machine there is a stainless steel block that will have ink in it. remove the spring assembly from that block by pulling it out slightly and latching it up and to the left.
Then clean the block and print head shaft.
Secondly there is a wiper between the print head and the drum that if improperly shut off, or if there was a power failure may have tacked to the print head. You would have to remove the right and left covers, and the ink loader, where you insert the ink sticks. once you remove them you will see the print head and drum. See if the blade assembly, ( pink) ( ok ok redish) is tacked to the print head. Gently remove it from the print head and run a remove light streaks and remove smears cycle.
While in that area, you would want to check the cables to the print head to see if they are hung up on something on the machine.
That code means the print head is not moving from the home position to the print position freely.
It is common and easily resolved 99 percent of the time.

Remove print head

There is no point in removeing a brother print head unless one is replacing it with new, not cleanable totally different print system to most brands. Head burns out heater elements, rather than blocks.

Yes remove every screw in top cover, all cables and post.

print head detached from rail by sliding to left end then back and up.

You are wasting your time trying to clean a brother type print head.
