My partner suggested that we copy Top Gear and for a laugh change the language from English. I did this to Latvisiskia or something like that and thankfully it only changed the written information, but the spoken directions are still in English. Unfortunately, I cannot decipher how to change back to English!

Re: Chosen a language and cannot return to English
Remove your sd card and reset the unit by using a paper clip and insert it in the tiny hole on the bottom where it says reset, once it comes back up you will see a screen that you wont understand but click the tab in the lower right hand side then tap the center of the next screen (should be the map) then keep clicking the lower right tab on each page till you come to the language page, then select which ever language you want.

On your iPod touch or iPhone, find the image of the gears to launch Settings.
Tap the option that contains the same gear image.
The next screen will contain a group of options, tap the fourth option.
Tap the first option on the next screen.
You can now choose your language (English is first.) Be sure to select "Done" in the upper right corner once you have chosen your option. After a few seconds, your iPod touch or iPhone will return to the home screen and be in the correct language.
It's very strange that it only comes with that one language. It's very likely you got a copy that was meant for a region where that language is common. Unfortunately, only Windows 7 Ultimate edition has the capability to switch between languages. If you're installing Home Premium like your icon suggests then I would return the disc to the store where you bought it and tell them it's not in English and request that they give you another one.
If the Operating System you're installing is Windows 7 Ultimate however, then do not fret. One of the first messages you get after you're done installing the OS is that updates are available. Among those updates will be language packs. Download the English language pack and after installing it, set it as your default language. You can do so by:
1. Going to Start -> Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region / Change the display language 2. Switch the displayed language in the "Choose A Display Lannguage" dropdown menu. 3. Click OK 4. Log off for the changes to take effect (This change will only affect the user profile under which you are currently logged on and you will have to do it for any additional profiles you create).

Click on "Account" (top right hand side - with black triangle).
Click on "Account settings" (3rd one down, if it's in a language you don't understand).
Click on the fifth tab across "Language".
Top option box "Primary Language" (has another black triangle next to it), click the triangle, and a list of languages will appear in a drop down menu.
Choose "English (US)" / "English (UK)" / "English (Upside Down)". As you want it to be.
It will automatically refresh the screen into the language you have chosen, WITHOUT taking you away from that page. You then have the option to choose again if you want.
