Lexmarkx6170 I can not connect this printer to my new Dell computer.

1st try unplugging the printer to rest it, it that fails remove and reload the software and drivers for the printer following the installation instructions exactly, if that fails you should consider a new printer in your future as the cost to repair can be close to the replacement cost.

Your HP computer may need the Drivers from the Dell Speakers to work properly.

Go to the Dell website and access their support section. There you'll find the software for your printer.

go to Dell websitr and downlowd the updared programs and driver for the All In one printer, the problem might not be your laptop, but your printer and the software having a connection issue. check with Dell.

Google lexmark drivers and the will have programs on line

Go to www.lexmark.com and click on DRIVERS AND DOWNLOADS. Then use the DRIVER FINDER. In SEARCH BY MODEL, type in 6170 and you can choose a driver from there.

Go into Printers and right click on your printer. Make sure "Use Printer Offline" does not have a check mark next to it.
