I want to reset my navman to factory settings

To restore the device to factory default settings, go to Settings > Device > Restore factory defaults. Please note that you will lose all stored information on the unit including addresses (ex. MY Places, Recent Locations). you can aslo contact the customer care

It's a very small image - is it possible that you have inadvertently altered a menu setting ? It looks as if it is offering some options, but I can't tell what. You may have to do a reset to factory settings. The manual may also help, as most of the menu settings should be illustrated.

Press the dataregistration button to display -usersettings-Press the # button 1sssw will display scroll down with the arrow buttons untill clear is display press ok and do printer clear.It will do a start up and ask for language reload all your default settings.Make sure your tone and pulse dail is set correctly.

Englisch - english

First of all the language was Finnish and not German. I managed to get a translation from Finnish to english for the word  kieli (Language).  Then i went to the system menu and selected kieli, then englanninkieli then pressed enter, this changed the language to english. I did not have to do a factory reset. Thank you for your trouble.

Go to the setting area and select "Preferences" there is a "reset Factory default" option select it.

If you can get to your settings area it looks like a little gear. Go 6 options down and touch it and you should be able to change it there. The user manual is in the link below if you need more technical information.

I solved the language problem by selecting the settings icon and then fumbling my way through the German instructions until I found something that looked like the language selection and yep, it was so it was easy enough to change back to English.
