change your temperature sensor, it's broken and it's going to down temperature
SOURCE: New freezer not cooling - temp @ 25 degrees and food is defrosted
It is probably the control board and since it's new it's still under warranty so a certified Frigidaire repair man will fix it without charge. There should be a telephone number with the paperwork you received when you bought it.

I would suspect that the connection to the outside temperature sensor is not good or the sensor itself is bad. Check the connection and clean and reattach as necessary. Otherwise replace the sensor. I think they're pretty reasonably priced.
The outside air temperature sensor for a 2000 Windstar is located under the front bumber on the passengers side. It is clearly visible if you lay down and look through the lower two air openings in the plastic bumper. It is the only electrical device in that area and it is made of black plastic.

The thermostat would need to be insulated better from the air that is surrounding it. Im assuming that the thermostat is located on the wall unit where it blows out the air. This could mean that it is actually reading more from the outside temp, than whats inside the house. Another thing to consider is the location of the thermostat, even it being close to anything in the house that produces some kind of heat will effect the condition of the air. If anything, its the manufacturers mistake if it was properly installed in the first place and if defective, they should replace it. hope this helps.
SOURCE: I've misplaced the operating instructions
This is for a model ET-903WS: Turn the base unit on first. This is the unit with the larger display & buttons. Hold the power/mode button (upper left) down until you hear 3 beeps and the display lights up. Mine then displays "BEEF" and shows 160, with 3 blinking spaces. Next, plug the probe into the smaller remote unit. You should get 1 beep, the remote will display the temperature and the base will now display the same temp where the blinking spaces were. The first couple of times I tried, the base would not display. Unplug the probe, turn the base off holding down the same power/mode button and start over. I've had to do this as many as 4 times but it has worked perfectly while I wrote this!?! I really like this thermometer because I can put the meat on the grill go inside and have a drink while watching the game and then a friendly voice comes on when the internal temp is within 10 degrees of your target and says: Your food is almost done...your food is almost done." If you sleep through that, she comes back on at temp and says "Your food I'd done...your food is done". I take most meat off at the first warning and wrap it in foil. Watch the probe and it will continue to rise for about 20 mins. Enjoy.
