I need a diagram to put rear shoes back on.

I took the rear shows off to replace but now I am not too sure how they go back together. I need an exploded parts view of a 2003 grand Caravan Sport with 3.3L engine and read drum brakes

Go to www.autozone.com register yourself and your vehicle then look around the site until you locate repair guide section, follow the instructions. I'd advise printing every page of instruction and read it first.
One piece of advice - if it's your first time for anything on the vehicle and there's another identicle assembly, take only one (1) apart so you have a sample (hopefully correctly assembled) to refer to.
Good luck

I put new shoes on 2004 pt cruiser base model and did some adjusting and bled the brakes now the drum wonā€™t fit back in and Iā€™ve already had it on once before I only took it off to make sure both sides...

With any style of brake (drum or rotor), new shoes/pads will always be thicker than the ones you are replacing. You have to retract the brake cylinder pistons to get drums/calipers on. For drum brakes, squeeze the two shoes together at the brake cylinder. If there is no more play and it still won't go on, the shoes you are using are too thick - this can happen with certain aftermarket parts. Try the OEM shoes instead.

Brake shoes

Hi, not sure if you will be able to get a diagram or not. If you are looking to do your brakes yourself, you can block up one side of the car and pull the brake drum off. Once the drum is off, you will be able to see all of the parts and how they go together. Then jack up the other side and replace the brake shoes. Use the blocked up side with drum removed as a reference when putting the other side back together, then switch sides. This is how I have done it before and it works really well...maybe better than a diagram.

Very poor brake performance after changing rear shoes

It sounds like your self-adjusters are not assembled correctly allowing them to back off when braking.

How do i replace the rear brake shoes

FIRST JACK THE CAR UP THEN TO PROCEED TO TAKE OFF BOTH WHEELS IN THE REAR. CHECK BRAKE SHOES TO MAKE SURE THEY NEED REPLACEMENT. YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE CERTAIN TOOLS TO REMOVE THE 2 SPRINGS OR YOU CAN USE PLIERS. IT'S EASY TO TALE OFF ONE SIDE OFF AT A TIME. THAT WAY IF YOU NEED TO CHECK THE ONE SIDE YOU JUST LOOK AND SEE IF YOU PUT ALL THE SPRINGS AND HARD PARTS BACK TOGETHER.

Looking for diagram of rear brakes - doing brake job

Pull both wheels off, do one at a time, use the other side as a guide to put it back together, I am a retired auto mechanic and this is the best way to do the job, also remember the larger shoe always goes to the back.
