Need to mp3 out of mtp mode and into usb mode need help

On the mp3 player, switch between the Usb and Mtp mode (The M button) on the side of the player.

In the manual it says Turn on the MP3 Player by holding the PLAY/PAUSE button. 2. Take the USB Cord and plug the corresponding ends into the MP3 Player and a Computer. 3. When connected the LCD Display will either say “USB” or “MTP”. 4. Press the “M” (mode) button to switch between “USB” and “MTP” mode. “MTP” mode will only work, when your player is connected to Microsoft® Windows® XP and Windows® Media Player 10. The MP3 Player will only work in “USB” mode when it is connected to Windows® 98SE, ME, or 2000 Professional. 5 is this helpful.Take your time sometimes these things don't work because you've missed out one step so go slow and try it two or three times before you give up
