Frozen I was listening to the MP3 player and turned it off to get out of the car the next time I tried to turn it on, it was frozen on the Sansa screen. I tried everything and finally changed the battery but still frozen. Any suggestions?

Mine froze in play position, but no sound.

Here's what worked for me. Mine is the Sansa M250

1)Plugged the player into the PC and removed all the MP3s

2)Downloaded update program from Sansa link below

http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1376

3) Install the program

4) Plug the Sansa into your PC.

5) Program automatically starts and allows you to check for software update. Do so and let the program update your player.

Fixed my freeze problem. Player working perfectly now.
Hope this helps.

Frozen screen

Hello,

When the Sansa e260 is frozen, first try to reset the player.

How to reset the e200 series player:
1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds.
2. Release the Power/Menu button.
3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.
When resetting does not solve the problem, a reinstallation of the
firmware should be performed.
