2006 VW Golf 2.0S SDI - where is cabin filter located & how do I replace?

I have a 2000 Golf and mine is located underneath that plastic piece connecting the engine compartment to the windshield on the passenger side.

Most cabin filters are under passenger side dash/glove box, but all are different to get to sorry I'm not sure how vw has theirs

When should a timing belt be changed on a 2006 VW Golf SDI. I am purchasing one with 67,500 miles and I want to know should the belt have been changed already or does it get changed at 80,000 miles.

It should be changed at 80,000 miles but volkswagen dealers will recomend it being changed from 60,000 miles or 4 years, they do this to cover themselves

I cant locate the cabin air filter on my 2008 VW Beetle. I went to the location and its not there. There is a musty smell coming from the vents.
