I have dual 204Bs using an nVidia 8800 GTS 640 MB running on Vista Ultimate. One of the monitors will not turn on when Vista comes out of an extended sleep. It will turn on after a short sleep period. I swapped ports on the video card and swapped the DVI cables too. That monitor still has the problem. It is the "primary" monitor per the nVidia configuration. The monitor is about 3 years old.
When keep pressing the power button to shut the monitor off and on, the monitor eventually comes back on. But it seems to be hit and miss as to how many times I need to do this. Turning if off for 30 seconds or so does not fix the problem nor seem to make a difference.
Can you give me ideas on this?
Thanks,
Steve
