Similiar to earlier posting and my set is almost four years old. These appear prominate on lighter colored back groungs and are masked when there is a dark background.
Re: Three Green spots and one purple one on screen.
Here's the scoop about the spots!!! Apparently Panasonic knows about
the problem!! It is a corruption in some eprom. Call Pana or your service center and they will
get someone to come to your home and fix the problem ...no charge!!! I
had mine just done, it takes about 15 minutes tops!!

The set if projection which model here is, has arced and now each of the three picture tubes used has a tiny permanent burn mark on its screen.
That is what you are seeing, the set uses three picture tubes with screens like the old tv sets===the coating has been burnt in each, want to prove it, remove rear cover and cover any one of the three lens and that mark on one tube will go a way.
This is along shot but you may have picked up a virus a few months ago, do a full system scan, also download malwarebytes anti-malware and do a full scan, if nothing shows up consider a full windows operational install, I have found in some cases it fixes the video problem.
The colored spots may be a light engine issue that Panasonic will pay for repair costs even though tv is few years old. Contact Panasonic. . No you can't reset the lamp timer without a remote.
Does your model end with a "5" as in PTnnLCX65? If so call the Panasonic call center to schedule service or find a servicer, they have a fix for colored spots on the 2005 MMDs ending with the number 5. The fix is being coverd under warranty.
for the color problem, most likely you do have problem with loose contact of components from C-board ( small board connected at the back of CRT "picture tube" which drives every color and size of the screen)if you have knowledge with soldering electronic component parts, resolder this board and also check main board for possible loose contact.
