Jvc Digital Video Camera GR-D53 Software

I have a JVC Digital Video Camera GR-D53 and want to upload the compatible ImageMixer 1.7 software to my new computer with Windows Vista program - doesn't seem to work . Any help would be appreciated.

ImageMixer 1.7 for camera JVC does not work with Vista
I had exactly the same problem. I was using a USB cable, as I had done with Windows XP. However, when I tried using a DV cable instead it worked no problem at all, and i was able to use Windows Movie Maker, so no need to install ImageMixer. Hope this helps. Tony

wrong connection! you must use firewire to stream video and audio from your cam-make sure comp has connection-called 1394-on cam it's called dv and get proper cable and you will be fine-usb only for pics
