I turn my controller on hoping to connect it to my 360 but all it does is just blink and the xbox is searching for controllers but my controller is never found....what do i do?
To connect the controller to your Xbox 360 console, follow these steps:
Press and hold the Xbox Guide button until the controller turns on. The Xbox Guide button is the round button with the green "X" near the center of the controller.
Make sure that your Xbox 360 console is turned on. If your Xbox 360
console is not turned on, press the power button. The power button is
the large round button on your Xbox 360 console.
On the Xbox 360 console, press and release the Connect button. The Connect button is the small round button on the Xbox 360 console.
On the controller, press and release the Connect button. The Connect button is the small button on the front edge of the controller, between the left bumper button and the charging port.
After the Ring of Light spins and flashes one time on the
controller and on the console, the controller is connected. The
quadrant on the Ring of Light that remains lit indicates the position
in which the controller is connected.

It's possible the xbox 360 controller isn't connected to the xbox 360. Turn the xbox 360 on by pressing the power button, and wait until it reaches the dash board. Then press the controller syncing button on the xbox 360 itself and wait until the xbox 360's ring lights start to spin around. Then press and hold the synch button on the controller (located near the charge port) and the controller should synch up with the xbox 360.
On the front of the controller and your Xbox 360 there is a small button that can make you wireless controller and system connect to each other. Make sure you press them at the same time so they can connect and you will be able to play.
Hope this works out for you and enjoy your new system.
If the ring of light keeps blinking, it means that the remote controller was not connected to a receiver which is the XBox 360 console. Try to press the connect button on the console and the wireless controller to sync them together.
Erm, Your controller is charged correct? Did you press the manual connect button on the controller (next to the charger port) and on the console? (If it doesn't work I'd take the battery out turn off the console P.S. To completely turn off the console unplug it from the transformer or the wall.) If that doesn't work get a replacement.
I had a similar issue with the XBOX 360 Wireless controller. It blinked slow when it was turned on and when synced, the XBOX got the signal, the controller got the signal, but after the full flashes of both, the console ring stayed dark and the controller kept on blinking.
I managed to get it connected by powering the console on using the "XBOX" button on the controller and then pressed the connect button just as the console was opening up the user interface, apparently the console is looking for controllers when it's just getting up and running and syncs better at that point.
clikc ont he button on ur xbox that looks like a bunch of arrows then turn on ur controller....this should solve it, if not e-mail me at [email protected]
Did you try to press the sync button on both the XBOX and the controller? This should make them connect after they take a second to find out that their searching for eachother. If this doesn't work then you should call into Microsoft and talk to them because the sync system might be faulty. Try the controllers on another XBOX before calling just to make sure though.
