you probley broke the ribbon cable inside that goes to the lcd under the touch screen...screen would have to be replaced...

It all depends on the extent of the damage. The digitizer is just one thing to stop working. The rest of the phone might go soon, and water damage isn't covered under warranty.

I replaced my Touch Screen once. I bought on ebay.

put it in DFU mode while connected to the computer. to do this, hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds and then let go of the power but keep on holding the home for 10 secs. the screen will be black and nothing will show up. go to itunes and click on your ipod on the left. then click restore. this should work.

reboot it by pressing home button and power button simultaneously and then it shud work and still if it dosent work conact me again
