Trying to register a new Garmin sat.nav. So far

Trying to register a new Garmin sat.nav. So far unable to make the right connection. Have tried several addresses to no avail. seem only to get "similar pages" with no direct link with Garmin. Can you advise please.

    Also having trouble registering the sat nav, the Bluetooth problem is the most important.

How do I convert my sat nav from europe to usa
Some Sat Navs can't convert, If it's bought & set to UK & Ireland maps, then you are stuck. 2nd thing , even if you can use Europe Maps on your Sat Nav, you still will be unable, to load USA maps.
Sat Nav not compatable, You will have to buy a NEW ONE.

  • To register your garmin nuvi connect it to your computer with the mini USB lead
  • Go to www.garmin.com
  • Select your country from the drop-down list
  • Click on the "myGarmin" tab at the top of the screen
  • Click on "Register your garmin product" on the left of the screen
  • Click on "Automotive" and follow the prompts
You'll be asked to create a username and password. Keep them safe as you'll need them again when you want to update your maps.

The satnav must already have been registered. If you have forgotten the username and password the only solution is to contact Garmin support. Their contact details are at http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/home/support/supportcontact

Unable to regester my new sat nav on computer
there should be only one place you can register your garmin and thats right HERE

you will need the serial Number off the gps, but you should not have to connect it to the computer.
