Your battery is most definitely faulty. The reason why you can charge it is your device uses the AC Charge while charging th battery. even when it says "Charge Complete", it is still charging the battery. Have the device sent for warranty repair.

My ipod is fully charged but when I disconnect it, it will not turn on

Your battery is toast. It will show fully charged, that is all it can do on a dead battery. Then when you disconnect you are dead again. the 4th battery rreplacement is $30.00. Or you can use the 30 bucks with the proceeds from a internet sale. They bring about $45.00 on ebay, and buy a refurbished on for the $75.00 you made and saved.

All of a sudden it will not turn on....nothing...when plugged into the usb...it say fully charged....but if you disconnect..and try to turn it on.....nothing happens..

If you can turn your player on while being plugged to your PC/Laptop or USB charger, then your internal Lion battery is most likely gone past its useful life (some 500 charges or 18 months usage) and may need replacing. Most MP3 player may show 'fully charged' when plugged in either when the battery is truly fully charge or defective battery is no longer taking a charge: e.g. minimum or no current flow situation.

Won't turn on after trying to download songs

Your battery might be dead.

Connect the player to a computer with the usb cable.

You should see a progress bar indicating the the battery is charged. Wait until it's fully charged.

I pod wont turn on

It's not a bad battery. There's a loose connection or disconnected wire inside that needs to be re-soldered.

Sansa 1g clip wont turn on.

did you try holding the power button on for ten seconds (the reset) after trying to charge it again? does it even power up when you plug it into the usb. if it powers on when connected to the usb and then shuts off immediately when you take it off the usb (rather than "refreshing database") then your battery is either 1)disconnected inside 2)dead or there may be issues with power management. Same thing happened to me (disconnected) but I soldered the loose connection and it only worked for two days, even checking the connections again. Now I don't know what's going on. It's more likely the battery has reached the end of its life.

MP3 player

I think it over charged. I left it on all day. When I returned home it was turned off. Before when I tried to turn it off it wouldn't. I turned it back on and it was fine, but the battery was very low. I charged it for a smaller amount of time. It is now fine and working like normal!

Philips mp3 player sa6045

This player shows the "Do not disconnect" message when it is doing something critical such as transferring tracks or updating firmware, which could corrupt the player if disconnected part way through.

The player shows the "OK to disconnect" when it is idle. As the message says, it's ok to disconnect, as the player will not corrupt if disconnected when it is idle.

These messages mean that the player does not need the "Safe to remove" procedure.

It is ok to disconnect part way through charging. Also the player will condition the battery once it is fully charged, so it's ok to leave it charging.

Occassionally batteries can "memorise" when constantly disconnect and reconnected without fully charging and discharging. To help prevent this, fully discharge the player (leave on until dead) and fully charge and condition (leave charging for about 12 hours) every couple of weeks or so.

My mp3

While connected to the computer, it uses the computer's power & the battery meter shows full. You need a new battery.
