Re: PSP can't read my memory stick and LAN light is...
Hi is it just the one movie that wont play or have you tried music and game saves? a few things to check 1 is the memory card showing magic gate supported 2 check if the card shows 15.?gb with nothing on it 3 try loading the card with 15gb of music and pictures
i bought a 16gb pro duo memory card from ebay that was a 4gb card showing in the psp as 15.4gb but corrupted every thing after 4gb. if you also find that the card is only taking between 4-8gb of data contact ebay as this is likely a fake card.

The best way to check if the memory card has the problem or the memory slot is bad is to try a different card and see if the PSP will read it if it reads a different card so the old card is bad but if it wont read a different card the slot is bad and need some repair........
Format it with your PSP not your PC, you pc will read the format from your psp but not vice versa because you are probably formatting it NTFS and not FAT16 or FAT32, the psp has its own way o formatting it. Thanks
I think instead of waisting your time, go out and buy a new quality name brand memory stick from a reputable dealer. These devices are very cheap in cost these days. This way you will have what you want, it will work properly, and it will have a warranty from the dealer and the manufacture.
I use a lot of these memory sticks. I have some that I share with people work with. We never had any problems with them unless a stick got water in to it or was accidently stepped on.
