Hi Steve, from what you see in the picture, your watch is not water resistant
I suggest you do not submerge it or buy one that is really water resistant
I hope you can solve
Greetings Franco Dosil

Hola Steve, por lo que se ve en la fotograf?a, tu reloj, no es resistente al agua
Te sugiero que no lo sumerjas o compra uno que realmente sea resistente al agua
Espero puedas resolver

Mens Armani Watch AR-0659 What battery fits this watch

I don't know the battery type for your watch but I would suggest you get the battery change done professionally. They can replace the seal and guarantee its continued water resistance on your particular model. Sadly I learnt the hard way and after the DIY battery change on my (now deceased) Armani watch it filled with water on my next visit to the swimming pool!

How much

The Abyss 10.900 is a waterproof diving watch that features a silicone filled stainless steel case and stainless steel unidirectional bezel on a black rubber strap. Silicone is denser than salt water, making the Abyss water resistant to grater depths. 10.900 is the depth in meters of the deepest location on earth, the Marina trench in the Pacific Ocean. The refractive index of silicone enables you to see the dial and hands from any angle under water. You can typically buy this watch for about $425.00

I got water damage in my watch and need the quickest way to fix it please

Step 1 - Minimize the Moisture If your watch is exposed to moisture or falls into water, the first thing you want to do is move it to a dry location. Dry off the water on the outside of the watch with a soft rag. The glass on the front can be easily scratched, so be sure to use a soft cloth to wipe clean.
Step 2 - Remove the Cover Open the cover on the back of the watch very carefully. Often a small flathead screwdriver will help in turning the cover. Pour any water out that remains. Be careful not to touch any of the gears or parts of the watch as the watch may become irreparable.
Step 3 - Air Dry Lay the watch face down in a warm room to allow it to air dry for at least 24 hours. After replacing the cover, the watch will often return to normal use. However, it is still recommended to have the watch repaired by a professional watch repair shop. They will be able to seal the front and back properly to assure no future leaks. Have them run a pressure test to ensure there are no potential leak areas.
Standard Upkeep Proper maintenance is imperative, especially on delicate mechanisms like timepieces. Even before your watch fills with moisture or stops working, it is a good idea to maintain it on a regular basis. The inside of a watch is filled with tiny gears and sensitive parts that must be installed perfectly to work properly. Under normal use and regular maintenance, a good watch will work for a lifetime.
It is important to minimize wear and tear when possible. Even though you may not see a crack in the seal, there very well may be one that could ruin your timepiece. Water, especially salt water, can be very damaging to a watch. Find a reputable repair shop to recommend a maintenance schedule for your timepiece.

I Have a problem with my Technomarine ABS05. There is changed a battery by someone. but the watch doesnt work. I removed the back and some oil came out. where can i find that sort of oil? How can I change...

Hi,

Oil should not come out of a watch. There just isn't that much oil in a watch to have it dripping out.

Are you sure it wasn't water? I can see where moisture could have gotten inside the watch if it was not sealed properly after the battery change.

The fast mall battery change places, jewelers and mart stores do not hire people that are trained to change batteries properly. We have a love hate relationship with those places. We love them because they keep us in business with all the watches they damage. We hate that they are in the business of replacing batteries in the first place because of how many watches they damage.

If you had one of those cheap battery stores replace the battery most likely they did not reseal your watch and it got water inside. This water will cause the problems you have now with your watch.

You will need to have a qualified watchmaker repair your watch.

Hope this helps,

Ken

My Polar F6 is not water resistant like it's supposed to be??????

Your watch is water resistant...not water proof...which means if you get a little water on it, fine..but certainly not wearing it in the pool!

Stem came out, question water resistance of watch now

Hi
The crown or winder, should have a very small o ring inside it, which seals on the watch case. Normally when replacing the stem this o ring would be replaced and lubricated with silicone grease to ensure water tightness. If this was not done there is no guarantee that it will still be waterproof (please dont forget to rate my answer, thanks)

Clean a watch

Watch cases and bracelets are cleaned in ultrasonic cleaning maschine with the help of special clening liquids.
Mechanical watch movements and mechanical parts of quartz and analog watches are cleaned in special watch cleaning maschines in 3-5 cleaning stages and cleaners.
Electronic parts, circuit boards, LCD screens are cleaned by hand using specialy made cleaning solutions for each individual part.
To do all this you need a watchmakers skills as the watch must be disassembled completely.
