ATF6000ES front load washer won't spin during regular cycle.
I have a Frigidaire ATF6000ES front load washer and I'm getting error code E20 even though the washer drains. This is causing the washer to not spin during the cycle, but it will spin if I select the spin only cycle. Thoughts?

Clogged filter will cause this error code. I have the same washer and the filter located inside the rubber boot attached to the pump was full of junk. there was enough room for water to get thru but not enough for full volume. clean it out and it should work. note : its a pain to get the boot back on so be ready and take it slow. this worked for me.

The machine, based on the error code, is made by Frigidaire for Kenmore. Error code E20 pertains to a slow or no drain problem which can be due to a clogged/kinked drain hose, blocked drain filter/coin trap, or a broken drain pump. The link below provides the detailed troubleshooting procedure of this error code.
Hello, After looking at the User Manual for our Washer, E20 is an error code
for the drain. It said that either the house drain line is clogged or
the washer drain line is clogged. After my husband took the drain line
off the washer, cleaned it out, we noticed that the lines had a lot of
detergent build up and figured that this is probably the cause of the
error code. We put the washer back together and it is working properly.
We have always used the "he" detergent for the front loader and
always used the proper amount; however, from now on, we will use less
than the recommended amount.
I hope this helps some of you who are having this problem.
Goto http://www.frigidaire.com/manuals and download the model wiring diagram. It will explain how to view and interpret additional error codes. I have the exact same issue with my machine (will not spin). The error code #E47 indicates that the machine thinks the door is open and will not engage spin. Fixes: new door switch ($85) or new control board ($285).
Other consumers have reported this error message and found it relates to your "Coin trap assembly" being blocked, therefore not allowing all the water to pump out. The suggestion out there is to remove the front access panel, and remove the clamp that connects this trap assembly to the pump and clean it out.
