Sounds like the brushes may be worn unevenly and one (or both) are jamming at an angle against the armature. They may need replacing.

There are cordless varieties of just about any type of hand drill, even the specialized hammer drill. These hammer drills work in the same manner as any of the core hammer drills or regular drills. Powered by a set of rechargeable batteries.

No, it's showing that the battery is either not taking a full charge or the charger is not charging the battery properly. Find a Milwaukee service center, they will check them and most likely replace one or the other.

SOURCE: how to replace the brushes on the milwaukee

Depending on age of tool older models did not have replaceable brushes. Change motor.
Newer models are replaceable , go to a service center and get a brush kit for this model. Or online.
Open tool with # 8 torx. Do not separate motor and gear case ,chuck remove as one unit. Brushes are solder in .De solder used brushes . Replace one side at a time. These kits come with new coil tension springs .

I have a Milwaukee M18 cordless drill with a bit broken off inside and the chuck won't open.

Put your drill into reverse, and hold the chuck. With luck, that will loosen the chuck and the broken bit will fall out.

My cordless drill is running at half RPM. Is it the brushes or the motor?

cordless drills have a switch that allows for more torque at lower rpms si in effect it is a 2 speed drill coupled with a variable speed switch that alters the rpms
If the drill is running I would be looking at a speed control problem at this point I would be looking at the torque control switch

    Chuck only closes half way

could be a couple things, the chuck retainingn screw in the center might have loosened up jamming the jaws when trying to close. Open the jaws all the way and tighten the screw, it is left hand thread. Or the chuck itself is damaged and depending on how little use might be covered under their warranty. I would check the screw first.

I have the m18 impact driver and i doesnt seem to be spinning as quickly and doesnt have the same power as when i bought it. it still works but not even close to the same.

The only reason a battery powered device slows down is that it's not getting the appropriate voltage from the battery. Your m18 has a lithium-ion battery that when topped off, and for what should be a good long work-period, deliver 18vdc to the motor. Unfortunately, some of the earlier m18 batteries have had some issues and are not fully charging. Some of this is due to improper charging, over heating, storage problems and physical damage.

Milwaukee utilizes a "smart battery" Digital Management System to monitor the "draw" on the battery to keep the user from frying the motor or overtaxing the battery. How hard to you use the tools...perhaps you should trade the stock compact versions for the XC (extra capacity) versions.

You don't say how long you've had these tools, but if you'll go back to the retailer you bought them from, you may be able to get replacement batteries there. Otherwise, check out the Milwaukee website. I think they came out with M18 XC "RED LITHIUM". I think this might be a replacement.

Nonetheless, Milwaukee offers a 2 year warranty on their batteries, so contact your retailer or Milwaukee directly.

I have purchased three milwaukee screw guns in the past year and a half and all four of my batteries will not charge. when my first set stopped working i had to purchased another screw gun and within six...

The same thing happened to me. There is normally a 2 year warranty on the batteries from Milwaukee. You can't return them to the Home Depot, you have to send them back via a local repair center.
You won't be able to exchange the batteries at the repair center. The repair center sends them back to Milwaukee and Milwaukee will send replacement batteries. You will probably be able to find the closest repair center on line.
