Hinge and Top screen of my Ds lite is broken.... T-T

Yes its fixable but it depends on what has broken.
There are two possibilities the small barrel hinge has broken, this is just a case of fitting a new one by opening the case, unscrew the light and gently pulling the top of the case away till you can change the barrel hinge.
The other one is the case has broken and is not holding the barrel hinge, can bodge it with some glue sometimes but most often you need a new case.

you should use a crystal casing because every time you open the ds the wires get messed up or put some thing on the hinge so the ds hinge will not get loose.

sounds like possibly the ribbon, should get it checked incase it dies for good.

Nintendo will fix the hinges depending on a few things, first thing would be to determine how the hinges were broken. The hinges are tested before they leave the factory, the only way that they actually break would be because of physical damage/impact. Physical damage is not covered under the manufact warranty so you would get a discounted price depending on if your under warranty or not. Regardless giving them a call and having their techs fix them will be the best bet, not only because you know it will be fixed right and your warranty will start over the day it gets repaired.

see if you need new carger or if it needs new batteries

Might be worth taking it into a phone repair shop to see if they can replace the LCD screen. (yes, a phone repair shop - a lot of them do portable console screens too!) If they can't do it, it's probably unfixable realistically.

Hi, it sounds like when the hinge has got damaged, so has the top screen ribbon on the left as its easily ripped. Would need a replacement case and top screen, can recommend here for both: www.console-spares.co.uk, hope this helps.

There is a ribbon that connects the top screen of the ds to the motherboard. It is possible that this ribbon became damaged when the hinge broke. A possible fix would be to replace the upper screen. Hope this helps.

It could also be running fluid from the screen's gel padding. I doubt that, though... It's best to buy or order a replacement screen. It's actually not too expensive and is not too hard to DIY. The problem with that, is it's really easy to accidentally break something while opening up a DS, especially the DS lites. Another problem is, you need a triwing screwdriver to open up the DS, which can only be found online. So, if you don't want to buy anthing online, you should just ask gamestop or something to repair it for you. It'll come at a price though...
