Question about Electric Kitchen Appliances - Others
I can get the top cover off to put the salt or pepper but I can not work out for the life of me, where the batteries go. The instructions only out line how to fill it with the seasoning & not the batteries

If its the grey plastic ones that start when you invert them, have a look on the base. You will see 4 projections. Hold the shaker upright and use the 4 projections to unscrew the base. The battery housing will drop out as you unscrew the base.

You'll need to talk to Salton Appliances in Melbourne. They are the Australian importer for Russell Hobbs.

Sporadic operation indicates an intermittent (flaky) connection. Check the tightness of the battery terminals as well as checking for corrosion. If it can be made to work by fiddling with the button, then the button may be failing.

Please contact the vendor your ordered your items from. We have no way of 1) knowing what the item is; and 2) more importantly we have no idea who you ordered from. Please go online and find their customer service information.
