Printer HP ColorLaserJet displays Fuser Error

Hai, I am facing this error message" 50.2 fuser error" from printer HP Color LaserJet 2600 please suggest me some remedy immediately

    it was very helpful but i am not able to recognise the fuser in the printer assembly, how to recognise it do send me a photograph if possible, thankfully jaypoo.

My HP Color Laserjet 2600n Printer is giving me error as

" 50.2 Fuser error " . then every time i have to reatart my printer.
please give me suggestion.

    Hi Everyone i had the same problem and resolved it without replacing the fuser. i have tried what hp have suggusted the leaving it off for 25 min ect. if you remove the cable fuser controller cable and plu it back it and just try it again it resets everyting and the printers starts working again. http://95.80.99.34:3080/Hewlett-Packard/... if you do the procedure on page 75 and section 5. and try again it should work. it worked for me , its such a good printer i would hate to see it go i am sure it the same case with you. good luck Nav PC Restore uk

Hi, The Fuser has failed and needs to be replaced. More than likely you will have to call for service on this unit!! This would be the only remedy for this error message. Hope this helps. Thanks

I just replaced the Fuser Kit on the Office''s HP 5500 laser color printer but the error is still there and as in the instructions I never received the question: "Is this a new fuser...
Here is the instructions to reset the fuser maintenance count:

HP Color LaserJet 5500/5550 Maintenance Code Reset Instructions
  1. Press the ? button until the display reads "CONFIGURE DEVICE" and press ?.
  2. Press the ? button until the display reads "RESETS" and press ?.
  3. Press the ? button until the display reads "RESET SUPPLIES" and press ?.
  4. Press the ? button until the display reads "FUSER" and press ?
This should reset your printer and clear the error message.

Regularly getting error code 50.9 on a HP color laserjet 3550 printer
Hey Joe,
This is what the HP Website has to say about it:
50.X FUSER ERROR Description A fuser error has occurred. Action
  1. Turn the printer off.
  2. Verify the fuser is properly installed and fully seated.
  3. Turn on the printer.
  4. If the message persists, contact HP Support.
BUT! you can try performing a cold reset, and maybe this would help:
500, 3550, 3700, 4600, 4650, 5500, 5550, 8500, 8550, 9500) use the instructions below. 1. Turn the printer on.
2. When the memory starts counting on the control panel, press and hold the green SELECT button. Continue to hold green SELECT button until all three Control Panel LED's are illuminated and on solid.
3. Release the green SELECT button.
4. The control panel will display SELECT LANGUAGE.
5. Press the DOWN ARROW button until control panel displays COLD RESET.
6. Press green SELECT button. The printer will perform a cold reset and then continue its power-on sequence.

  1. Turn off the device, wait at least 25 minutes, and then turn on the device.
  2. If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the device directly into the wall socket. Use the power switch to turn on the device.

finally i solve this problem hp colorlaserjet 5550 error 59.30 same with an error 59.40 ERROR this is occurred with the fuser motor during startup or not rotating. take the left cover off and replace the motor. hope this will help.

FUSER ERROR:

. Turn the printer off, wait 10 minutes, and then turn the printer on. 2. If the message persists, reseat the fuser. If that does not work, replace the fuser. To check the fuser, turn the printer off and remove the fuser. Measure the resistance between the fuser connectors. If it is not within the proper range, replace the fuser. If there is not continuity between the fuser connectors neutral and hot with the fuser removed, replace the fuser. If the problem is not related to the fuser, replace the engine controller board.
