Canon i9950 inkjet printer, keeps showing paper jam even though nothing there. If I turn it off and on, it prints anything from 1 to 4 pages before error message paper jam again. Just going round in circles.

Maybe it's just one small paper.
If it's on guarantee, take it to store, and describe the problem like this:

"Cant print. Don't know whats going on!"

So they don't charge you ;)

If it's out of guarantee, try to open all parts until you see the small paper.

Or it could be the sensor (piece of plastic) that was jammed, or get jammed when paper pass. Take a good look on that too.

Testimonial: "Will take a look, I think I will need to dismantle it and give it a good check through. I have been quoted £150+ to repair/clean it."

Printer problem

From the Printers & Faxes window, check in the i9950 Printing Preferences, Page Setup tab, for the following settings:

Page Size and Printer Paper Size are both set for the same size (both A4 or both A3).
Printing Type is set for Normal-size Printing

The graphic on the left should now show A4 (or A3) and Normal-size Printing in the legend.

Once that is set, verify from the application you're printing from that these settings are not being changed by the application (Preferences button in the print dialog box).
