New 4 g memory card says memory card error

I hope you have this problem solved but if not here are some solutions. First format the card as all new memory cards need to be formatted to the camera they are being used in. I'm not totally familiar with the model of camera you have but, if it has been working with say a 1gig card and you then install a 2gig card the camera may not accept a 2gig memory card. In this case you would need to go onto Panasonic's web site and download the updated firmware for your camera. In short if the memory card won't format then it's possible it's to big for the camera until you update the firmware

My camera won't accept new 2GB SD card. Keep

Do you have pics on the internal memory? You must format the internal memory with no card in the camera. Then, format the card.

Scandisk memory card keeps saying error

Some cameras will not work with the larger flash cards. Also the SDHC requires an adapter that accepts the high density. Many built into the computers do not accept the high density and will demand they be formatted. Verify the requirements of the devices you have for compatibility.

I just bought a new memory card but I keep getting "Internal Memory Full" message. How can I fix this problem.

Your camera is supported by: Memory card support : SD/MMC up to 2 Gigabyte. If you are using any other card your camera might give you an error message such as this one.

Try to format the memory card in my camera? NOTE this will delete all existing data on your card.
Do the following:
  1. Insert the memory card into the camera. Make sure the card is firmly seated (push in the card until it clicks into place).
  2. Turn on the camera.
  3. Press the Menu button, then go to the Setup Menu.
  4. Scroll up or down to the Format option, then press the OK button

Cant get my camera to format a memory card

agreeing with fixer1950. This model is in fact just designed for up to 2GB SD or MMC card.

When Easyshare one was released, 4gb SDHC was not yet created. You will always get the "memory card requires formatting" (looping until you get a file sys error msg) if you will keep on trying to use the 4gb.

My Kodak EasyShare C315 needs formatting.

For all the camera users whose cameras won't format...they can't accept all the info on a 2 gb memory card... install a 1 gb card...worked like a charm for me! C315 and others were made before the 2 gb card. Only 1 gb cards work in the older cameras.

Memory card camera wont accept just getting card error,

Please format memory card by going to camera Menu options in
DZ-BX35E and try.
If problem still exist, then memory card slot could be damaged.
Check new memory card in other camera to verify that card is OK.

Format Memory Card Error

The problem with the c350 is that it does not accept a memory card higher than 1GB! I found that out through the Kodak website and not in the User's Guide!
