SOURCE: AC adaptor cord

Try a Radio Shack universal replacement power supply like 273-1773 or 273-1776 or 273-1667 with the proper "Adaptaplug" that goes with it. It should do nicely and be sure to observer the proper polarity of the plug so that it will match your unit. Good luck.

My Crosley CR49-TA won't revolve. It turns on, and

Most turntables are belt driven. Suggest you take a look inside but remember to unplug the deck first. Usually it's a simple case of slipping the belt back on.

Turntable plays record then stops after a few minutes, overheating?

These Chinese made plastic products are not the real thing. It can be fixed but will not operate long term like a real stereo system. For a reliable product you need to be using Technics type turntables and Samsui or Pioneer receivers to get a real system working. They are big and heavy and that is why a lot of them are still working after 40 years.
I know because I have some of those products here- they can be repaired to last as well. I do the repairs.

The turntable is not revolving at the correct speed slowing the record down

Sounds to me like your belt is streched. Under the felt of the turning section, there should be two rather large holes. Insert your thumb and forefinger and pull the table off. You should also see where the existing belt is running. Insert new belt around the motor first and replace the table section. Now, through the two holes, manouver the belt onto the table section until it spins freely

Belt came off on my crosley cr49 record player

1) Remove the platter - just lift up
2) Underneath the platter, you'll see a small lip section
3) Wrap the belt around this lip
4) Put platter back on turntable
5) Rotate platter until you see the motor shaft through the holes on the platter - a brass round looking piece
6) Pinch the belt around the motor shaft.
7) That's it.

Crosley CR49 Turntable Speed Problem

Do you know how to make a measurement? open your equipment, use your voltmeter to see how much voltage run the motor and then compare with the voltage who is written in the motor. If the voltage which your have read is in the range of motor voltage +- 10% is ok, of no, that voltage must be more than that correct that problem.
If the voltage is the range of motor voltage the replace the motor.
Thank you.
