Also note; you will have to hold down the filter basket to keep the whole blade spinning in order to remove the blade. After you have stabilized the basket from spinning, with the blade, you should be able to turn the crescent tool counter clockwise to remove the blade.

I have a jack lalanne epress juicer, how do I clean take it apart to clean. I don't see holes on top of blade.

Can you take out the orange thing at the bottem of the juicer under the blade, or can it be taken out???? plz help!!!

Did you use the orange handled tool to loosen the blade? Once you do this, each piece comes off easily for cleaning. The first piece is the blade, then the filter, then the casing. The juicer comes with an orange "wrench" which fits in the holes on top of the blade.

my parents bought this used i think but they dont have a orange handled tool how or what else can they use to take apart so they can clean the product.they are trying to take apart to clean the jusicer
just use a screwdriver (philips, ) in one of the holes and turn counter clock wise. If you have a screwdriver which won't fit all the way into the hole, press the tip down when you turn.
How do I clean?
