The cyan ink is completely draining into the overflow tank whether or not the machine is powered on or off. If you put a new ink cartridge in it is drained in 5 to 10 min. We changed the ink rf tag, ink pcb, cyan reservoir, ID unit, pressure pump, all with good components. Got the same problem. Problem doesn't occur with magenta, yellow, or black

When the printer says "install C" it is referring to the Cyan (blue) ink cartridge. If this is not a new cartridge, you might have to replace it. If this is a new cartridge, try following these steps.
1. Unplug the power cable. 2. Remove all 4 ink cartridges. 3. Close the ink cover 4. Plug the power back in. 5. Wait for the machine to warm up and tell you that the ink is empty. 6. Reinsert all 4 ink cartridges.
If you keep getting the same message you should try another cartridge. You can put the yellow cartridge in the blue spot to see if you get the same message. If you get the same message then the machine is broken. If you get a new message then the cyan cartridge needs to be changed.
hello sir, hi, the ink comes out from the ink cartridge to the ink cradle where the ink pass to the paper, this is clogged, need you to clean the ink cradle, you can use warm water to soften the dried ink.
Do replacement procedure, follow How to.. on status monitor. When asked to replace ink tank, unplug all ink tanks, and plug only cyan ink tank. Next....next.. Finish. See status monitor. Is cyan recognized (Not cross sign)? If yes, repeat procedure, without unplugging, plug others 1 by 1. If no, check for chip connector (for cyan) at carriage, or try to use another cyan ink tank.
remove some ink from the cartridge and clean the contact point of the cartridge and inside the printer, then hold the cartridge. when the cartridge not drop ink fix the in the printer
Are you using genuine ink cartridges? If not, then perhaps there is no microchip on your ink cartridge. You can take the old chip off your used cartridge and put it on this cartridge and see if this solves your problem.
Take all carts out of the machine. Have a look into the cart holder. Is there ink swapping beneath the white plastic? (You might shake the machine ;-)
If yes, the cart holder leaks and needs replacement.
If not (your lucky!) it could be that the automatic cleaning procedure which starts when a cart is changed has soaked the carts empty.
Do set machine with date and time and NEVER unplug NOR use a power switch which breaks the power supply.
Do use constant power and switch off machine by pressing stand-by-fax-button!
Everytime when machine comes to (new) power contact it runs an extensive ink cleaning procedure. thats why your carts are always near empty....
The stand-by will prevent this and machine does some cleaning procedures which consumes only a few drops(!) of ink!
The display asks you if you have changed the carts. Do answer this question by pressing 1 for YES or 2 for NO.
This will reset the built-in inkcountermanagement to the correct settings
You have to replace the cyan cart with a new one. error should disappear.
Even though you didnt use cyan the machine needs some ink to keep the noozles wet. Therefore machine does some automatic cleaning cycles which consumes some ink.
BTW: did you program the date/hour settings? Do so and do NOT disconnect machine from constant power, because data will be deleted. machine will do its cleaning cycles about every 2 weeks. otherwise it will do the cleaning everytime its powered up!
Unplug printer from power. Wait a minute. Take all carts out. Plug machine to power. mfc demands carts. Reinsert carts (have a look if they all filled with ink!!). If asked press 2 (No change) despite you use a new cart press 1 Yes cart changed.
