Try resetting it, but first put it on the charger for a few hours to make sure its charged. using a paper clip or something similar, depress and hold the reset button located on the bottom of the unit for 15 seconds, then hold the power button for up to 5 seconds till the unit starts.
if that fails, hook your tomtom to your computer and run tomtom home and see if that will update or repair it.
