Question about Nova Development Print Artist Version 22 Platinum Edition

Program crashes when I try to Print

Print Artist Platinum 22 crashes if I try to print, print preview or print to pdf and when I opened it back up, part of my brochure was missing!! This is crazy...anyone know how to fix it because I wasted and hour on the phone to tech support and they don't know. I have vista 64bit

No guarantee but try a reinstall. First completely deinstall. Then, reboot twice. Reinstall as per directions as if it was the first time. Try a different file from scratch, then try to print. The one that was giving you the trouble may be corrupted. Reuse at your own risk.

If it was a downloaded software get in touch with where you got it from. If was a boxed software. Try reinstalling it. It might suggest that it's already installed, and ask if you wish to repair or remove it.
Go for the repair option. If it still doesn't work, go for the remove option then and the reinstall from scratch.

Print artist platinum 22 does not want to install on our new computer with windows 7, is there a patch or some drivers that need to be installed?
Hi there,

Try launching the program in compatibility mode. If this is a disc you're trying to install from, click on Start, goto Computer, go into your DVD Drive, right-click the Setup's EXE file, then Troubleshoot Compatibility.
If this is just a Setup EXE file you are trying to load on your computer you can do the same. Just right-click and select Troubleshoot Compatibility.
When you're presented with a list of options, select "This program worked in an earlier version of Windows", then hit Next. Just follow the prompts and then try installing it again.

Every time I try to boot up print artist platinum edition it says Print Artist Platinum has encountered a problem and needs to close. What do I need to do to fix the problem?
My parents ran into this same issue this afternoon. After a bunch of trial and error over the phone, here's the solution:

1. Go to the Start Menu and open Computer (used to be called My Computer).
2. Browse to c:\Program Files (x86)\Nova\Print Artist Platinum
3. Right-click on Print Artist.exe and create a shortcut
4. Drag the shortcut to the desktop
5. Double-click on the new shortcut to start the application.
6. Delete the non-working shortcut.

Since I was working with my parents over the phone, some of the file names may be slightly incorrect. However, this should be close enough to get you working.

How do yo install the bonus fonts and graphics
From Nova Development website FAQ:

Some products contain bonus CDs with extra graphics. These CDs are not installed onto your computer. When you want to browse them, select a document in the program and go to Insert - Graphic. This will open the Insert Graphic dialog box. You will use this window to navigate through the CD and preview all the bonus categories of art. To add an image to the project, select the image and click the Insert/Open button.

error's like this are very common and most of the time are caused by microsoft windows updates,go to the site and check first for any updates that need upgrading that don't automaticly update and see what results come up? then you can try and do your install,good luck,garnedd.
