Toner empty error while toner is not empty, cannot print any document, system data can be print through the printer

your lexmark toner is sticking if its a fill in and you filled in at store you can only use them so many times and the ink drys up in them replace cardlidges with new ones.

there is a crum data chip inside the toner cartridge wich store the page count data
buy chip from market or any reffiller & replace

buy new cartridge

There is an error in the control logic of the printer that you can exploit like this:

1. Start printing your document, you will receive the error message "missing toner"
2. open the front door and close it again, this will reinitialize the test cycle
3. the printer will now print one page before verifying the toner content again
4. after one page you get the"toner empty" message again. Reopen the door and close it again to print another page.

This is only an emergency workaround if you really need to print something black urgently, in the long run you still have to buy a new toner.

When the data and alarm light are on it means the toner is empty. You will need to replace the toner cartridge.

Cartridge has a chip. Replace the old cartridge with a new cartridge.

Your system has some problems. If this problem occurs,
contact your service representative.
On Line/Error LED

• Paper jam occurs. To solve the problem, see “Clearing
Paper Jams” on page 5.6.
• The front cover is open. Close the front cover.
• Paper tray is empty. Load the paper in the Tray.
• The toner cartridge is out of toner. Remove the old toner
cartridge and install a new one. See “Installing the Toner
Cartridge” on page 2.4.
• You pressed the Cancel button while the printer is
receiving data.
• In Manual Feed mode, there is no paper in the manual
tray. Load paper into the manual tray.
• If the printer is receiving data, the On Line/Error LED
slowly blinks green.
• If the printer is printing the received data, the On Line/
Error LED blinks green fast.

According to the operation manual: If alarm light and data light blink every 5 seconds- TONER LOW (purchase more toner and have it ready when the 'toner empty' is indicated). If alarm light and data light stay lit- TONER EMPTY (replace toner cartrige with new one).
