Probably not a very good answer since the Owner / Installation Manual for this shed specifically states "do not contact the store....". Instead, follow instructions in the manual and contact US Leisure at 1-877-638-7056. Ext 6. Get ready for voice mail and punch the buttons HE...LL. These people apparently cannot hire folks to run their phones or customer service department. Sat on hold and running buttons in their system for 35 minutes the other day before giving up.
The piston engine is the power plant. It generates thrust by turning the propeller, electrical power through the generator, hydraulic power with engine oil and/or a hydraulic system. It also sometimes has a vacuum pump in the form of a sliding vane pump to operate the mechanical gyros instruments. On a piston engine there is no "bleed air" supply. For the cabin pressure pneumatic system, piston aircraft, take compressed air from the compressor side of the turbocharger (or supercharger old airplanes) and routed into the cabin as long as the engine is running. The outflow valve which regulates how much air is let out of the cabin is used to maintain the desired cabin pressure. The cabin outflow valve is controlled by a cabin pressure controller where the pilot sets the cabin pressure and climb or descent rates. This is the only pneumatic system I can think of other than "de-icing boots" on the wing leading edge that are pneumatically operated.
A "receiver" is usually associated with a receiver/dryer in an air conditioning system.
Hi, I have a EM5000SX. My problem is my generator will not start unless I turn the fuel selector to off. Then crank it until it does start, turn the fuel back on. Run's normal . I run this generator for my cabin every weekend.
CAUTION: Do not allow any metal object to come in contact with
the generator housing and internal diode
cooling fins. A short circuit may result and burn out the diodes.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove the RH intermediate axle shaft.
Remove the 6 lower splash shield bolts and the 2 pin-type
retainers.
To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) .
NOTE: The LH lower splash shield must be removed before the
RH lower splash shield. Remove the lower splash shields.
Remove the nut and position the bracket and wiring
harness aside.
Rotate the front end accessory drive tensioner counterclockwise
and position the accessory drive belt aside.
Position the generator B+ protective cover aside and remove the
generator B+ terminal nut.
To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) .
Disconnect the generator electrical connector.
Remove the generator upper air duct bolt.
To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in) .
Loosen the 2 lower generator bolts and remove the generator upper
air duct.
Remove the pin-type retainer from the generator shield.
Remove the bolt and the generator shield.
To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in)
Remove the generator stud nut.
To install, tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft) .
Remove the generator stud.
To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) .
Remove the 2 generator bolts.
To install, tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft) .
Position the generator aside and remove the 3 generator lower air
duct nuts.
To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in) .
Remove the generator lower air duct.
Rotate the generator to gain enough clearance and remove it
through the opening in the fender well.
If necessary, remove the 2 generator bracket bolts and the
generator bracket.
You should not have to cut any wires to install a remote kill switch. Most honda engines have an oil alert what will cut ignition if oil level is low. The switch actually shorts the itnition to ground just like the on / kill switch. Just unplug oil alert wire from harness and add a homemade connector with second lead and connect another wire to ground/frame of generator engine. When you short these two wires together it should kill engine. Solder these two wires to a female connector (Radio Shack) and just leave inside generator when you want remote switch. Attach switch to leads of desired length of male connector to mate with female connector at generator. Good Luck.
Before servicing the vehicle, please familiarize yourself with
safety procedures.
NOTE
The A/C suction line may need to be positioned rearward to ease
removal of the generator.
Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Rotate the front end accessory drive belt tensioner
counterclockwise and position the belt aside.
Remove the front valance panel.
Remove the air deflector.
Remove the A/C suction line clip from the radiator core support.
Remove the left hand A/C suction line lower bracket bolt and
position the bracket rearward.
Remove the generator upper mounting bolt.
Remove the generator lower mounting nut and bolt.
Disconnect the generator electrical connector.
Position the generator B+ wire protective cover aside and remove
the generator B+ wire nut and cable end.
Remove the generator.
