To connect your psp 2000 to a tv, you can use the red, white and blue cable to watch movies on tv. If you are trying to play a game on TV, you must use the HD Component cables(red, white, yellow, green, blue) and hook it up to a progressive scan tv.

Look for either the PSPgo or PSP-3000 AV Cables. If your TV has Red, Green and Blue inputs, use the Component cables, otherwise just use the standard AV cables that come in Yellow, Red and White.

sounds like your using rca jacks yellow red white you need to use componet green blue red then red and white for audio

firstly it wont work with a (phat) psp but slim is good. they have good vids on youtube showing u how to if that helps,to the best of my knowledge the red, white, an yellow av cable wont allow gameplay, just watch videos, i believe you need the blue, green, an red cable with a hdtv, hope that helps.

Okay the cables you bought they have five plugs. I assuming your tv doesn't have component input only RCA connections (RED, WHITE, YELLOW). SO in that case you bought the wrong jacks. You may want to keep them anyway if you upgrade your tv. Because these "component" cables is the only way you can play video games on the big screen and also has to be hd, but it also will be able to play music, view pics, and watch videos. But that's a different subject.

You need to buy RCA cables for your slim. Keep in mind though you will only be able to watch movies, pics, and music. You won't be able to play video games. Once you have those it's not hard to connect. All you do is from the XMB menu go to display settings click on "switch video output" and it should connect from there. Check the the color system of the tv.if the tv is auto no problem

hi. about that, 1 question, is your tv non hd? if not. you can do almost anything on psp to the tv wit that, but not games. to play games, you will need to use a hd tv and another type of cble named. psp component cable.

you need those to two to play psp to the tv. what a drag isnt it?..
