CLICK HERE to go to a windows phone forum, where many people are \'upset\' that the volume for the ringtone, the earphone volume and music all change together. It seems to be a big pain.
It is unlikely there is anything wrong wit the mics. The SM57 is very simple. Literally just a magnet and coil of wire. The problem that you describe is likely caused by your mixer, the presonus, etc.
remove battery from phone and reinstall after 10 mins... this seems to fix alot of things also go to sound setting a make sure the volume is turned up all the way
try swithching device off then back on. tap volume bar at bottom. if this does not work reset device by using small pin in base of sat nav, this is underneath and is a small hole which says reset by it.
Good luck and please feel free to rate my response.

I just fixed my bass amp with a similar problem last week: the problem is related to a loose connection on the PCB board (likely).
A bass amp is a rough place for circuitry: the low rumble and power shake a bass amp more than a guitar amp.
In my case, the power transistors needed to be re-soldered and then the grounding bolts and screws needed to be removed and cleaned because the connection was bad. Remember that when two different metals needed for an electric connection are toughing, there is the likelyhood that corrosion WILL happen.
My bass amp did basically the same thing yours did: sounded good at low volumes, but at higher volumes it would act up.
In short, there is nothing you can do (unless you are a repair person): you need to take it to a local music shop and have a tech fix the intermittant contact problem: someone who knows what they are doing should only take an hour at most.
Hey Clacoe,
1st of all what is it that you have there, a tom tom go? Sounds like a drum machine or keyboard with drum tempo. No reeeal solution here, except for suggesting that you check the company's website for info on access to a manual online, through snail mail or email.
I'm a musician myself, so i could relate about wanting to know how a high tech instrument works ...If that's what it is.
