Loud whirring noise from home theater receiver

Occassionally, when I turn on the HT, there's a loud whirring noise. it doesn't seem to stop. the fan is way too loud.i only just purchased the thing last week. any advise other than to replace it? is there something i can do on my own?

Samsung HT TX500 won't play any dvd, just states that there is no dvd, or keeps attempting to load the disk (makes a loud whirring sound)

DVD PLAYER FAN MAKES REALLY LOUD NOISE IT SOMETIMES GOES AWAY WHEN I TAP THE BACK OF THE FAN SOUNDS LIKE ITS JAMMING

When fan's shaft got dry, it start vibration in spinning and produce lound noise. Lubricate exhaust fan shaft with good quality machine oil.
