From windows Xp onwards, you can drag and drop the files into Cd and it will automatically burns to the disc. But you cannot create a video cd, audio cd etc specifically. For that case, you have to use a cd burning software like Nero which is having lots of options. Please install that in your system and Njoy

Cannot burn audio cd with iTunes

Maybe iTunes don't want your burning their music. I'm not sure cuz I don't use Itunes, but if it works on others that sounds like it might be the problem.

Here I found the below on Apple's site.

Symptoms Find out what to do if you can't burn an audio CD using iTunes for Windows. Sometimes an audio disc may not burn as expected. Here are some things to check.
Resolution Update iTunes Download and install the latest version of iTunes for Windows.
Songs not authorized iTunes will stop burning a disc if one or more of the songs in a playlist were purchased from the iTunes Store but are not authorized to play on this computer. This message appears:
"Some of the files can not be burned to an audio CD. Do you still want to burn the remainder of this playlist? For more information on why some files can not be burned, click below".

There's more so click the link below and see why you can't burn your cd.

Toshiba laptop won't burn cd from itunes

I think that your cd burner is messed up. Try contacting Toshiba support, and asking them to troubleshoot it with you. This is the link for Toshiba support: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/home.jsp

I bought iTunes card, bought the songs i wanted, but it wont work

Your CD Drive may be just a CD/DVD reader Drive may not be able to burn onto CD/DVD,s my dads laptop cant, he gets same error when he trys, so he had to use a different cd/dvd burner on a desktop.

If you have a desktop or laptop and you are 100% sure it can burn to CD/DVD,s then i reccomend you get a program called "ULTRA ISO" it is shareware but allows burning up to 300mb per cd for free before it asks you to pay so as long as you keep cd files below a total of 300mb you,d never have to pay. if its actually ITUNES which is reporting the error then your CD/DVD drive may require its own software before itunes will reconise it as CD/DVD burner drive. windows media player can report this type of error also.

Can not burn disk on laptop

Will the disc play in your PC or another PC when it is put in there?
Will someone elses burned CD's play in your stereo?
If so, then there may be an additional step when you burn the disc called "finalizing" that will complete the burn on the disc in a way that will prevent any more songs from being added to it, but will make it readable in many more devices.
This usually is either a checkbox or an option pops up after the disc is burned (I don't know about i tunes software for sure).
Since a lot of older stereos cannot play burned CD's there is still a chance this will not work for you.

Toshiba laptop won't burn cd from itunes

I had the same promblem. What you should do is make a serperate file on you desktop and drag all of your music that you burn or download to that folder first. Drag it to Itunes after that. Now, you only have to drag the songs to Itunes if you want them on there for you iPod. Take the songs from the folder, and drag them to windows media players burn list. Insert a blank disc and you should be good. Keep in mind that you can only do this if you put downloaded or burned music to the created folder first. If you take it to Itunes first, you will have to re-download or re-burn your music again.
Hopefully this helped you guys.
