Driver for samsung digital camera

Cameras don't usually require a driver for accessing the picture storage by USB cable. However other functions may require a driver. I expect Samsung provide this on their website in the downloads section.

Do you really need the Samsung software?

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

If you've downloaded all the pictures from the card, format it in the camera. This should solve the problem.

This is a problem with the CCD imaging in the camera. To put it simply the camera needs major repair. You can follow this link to inquire with samsung about getting it repaired.

Go to Menu -> Setup -> Lamp -> On

you can download usermanual for this model thru: www.samsungcamera.com on the search bar just type in the model which is a7 and you can see option for usermanual

What type of battery are you using.
What does the manual tell you to use?
Plain alkali are not good.
They should be Ni Mah or Li-on

Camera of this type are usually considered-'Consumable'
Like small radio DVD players toaster and kettles if it gets broken you buy the next one.
If it fail in service under warranty is it replaced complete - there will be no parts.
Duct Tape can come in very useful for this type of thing
