TV will not turn on. audio and cable are working

Did u ever replace the Ballast board for this tv?No?,that ur tv problems.The Ballast board only job are to ignite the tv projection lamp to make it work.U hearing multiple clicks,lamp never ignite up the Ballast board.

If lamp has not been replaced in tv in last 2-3 years then it seems time to get it replace.
Lamp replacement procedure is easy and written in user manual of tv.

I would suggest it is a ballast problem. You can check supply of 5 volts to ballast's small 5 pin connector (trigger voltage) and about 300V-330V to large 2pin connector. If both voltages present at the start and lamp is working with in another TV - it is bad ballast.

Make sure that the lamp cage is seating well .. then make sure the door is closed properly. there is a door switch and if the door dont close right the switch may be telling the set the lamp is out.

The Tv will shut off and sho error if the ballast is bad. Replace the ballast and you should be fine.

If you can still HEAR sound, but can't see. Check your Audio Video Cable.

It's the colorful one (red, white, yellow) (red, blue green, white, red)

Make sure the connections are secure into the back of the TV as well as the connection to the back of the Xbox 360.

I would suggest getting another optical block from the repair man. Apparently even some replacement blocks have had issues...

Well I bought my about three years ago and that warning was poping on for about a year. The lamp finally went out, I should have got a replacement sooner. But I ran it longer than it should have gone, I think I read the lamp should last about 2 years, I got an extra year out of it. Oh well time for a new one...

If the Lamp condition is okay then check the FE lens just next to the lamp in the projector after removing the lamp out of prj. replace if that is burnt.otherwise replace Lamp.
