I have a Kenmore washer model no.4174102000 that has broken and was advised it cannot be fixed. I have a Kenmore stackable dryer model no.41781042000 and am being told by Sears that I have to buy a new washer and dryer. The dryer works fine and I would like to replace just the washer. It has to be able to take the top off of the washer in order to stack. Do you sell any washers that would stack with my current dryer? If so, please let me know the model number as Sears has not been very cooperative. Thank you.

A stack unit is a very risky investment, altho it's understandable if you have limited space. if the hold downs on the washer are rusted out or broken thru you need to have someone weld them for you. That's how we used to do it where I worked but stacks are not usually easily worked on. I'm afraid you will probably have to get an entirely new unit or maybe a used one from a reputable used appl. dealer in your area. Check around, you might get lucky and find one relatively inexpensive

Kenmore stackable washer dryer 417.12510. Still NO Heat

If your Kenmore stackable washer dryer model 417.12510 is not producing heat, there may be a problem with the heating element or with the control system of the dryer. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:
  1. Check the dryer's manual for any specific troubleshooting steps or error codes that may be relevant to the issue you are experiencing.
  2. Make sure that the dryer's lint filter is clean and unobstructed. A clogged lint filter can cause problems with the heating element.
  3. Check the heating element for any visible signs of damage or wear. If the element is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  4. If the heating element appears to be in good condition, there may be a problem with the control system of the dryer. In this case, it will likely be necessary to have a qualified technician inspect the machine to diagnose the problem and recommend the necessary repairs.
I hope this information is helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can assist with.

My Kenmore stackable washer/dryer combo, model 417.94702300 suddenly overfilled with water and started leaking through the back. How can I gain access to the pressure switch tube to clear it?

The tub seal could be broken or or ripped or torn and the tub bearing and the tub seals both need to be replaced then for your washing machine and dryer machine combo.

Kenmore Stackable washer/dryer Model #11088752793, won't heat

Hi,
Either the elements have blown, or it could be a device called a thermal overload which has popped. (There may also be a loose wire which connects to the heating elements). Have your drier checked out by a good handyman or technician.
Best wishes,

Stackable washer/dryer

hi..
When your dryer drum isn’t turning anymore, it’s usually a broken belt. Tearing the dryer apart is usually straight-forward enough but stringing the new belt on the motor and idler pulley can be tricky. The Complete Encyclopedia of Dryer Belt Configurations shows the belt configurations for almost every dryer brand you can think of.

this will fix ur problem..
