i think the model number you put down is the serial number? I cannot locate a model number like this one anywhere :( Should be on a plate just inside the lid of the machine.

I assume this is an older top loader. You may have something stuck in the pump itself. I can tell you how to check this. Following is cabinet removal instructions:

  • Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw from each side of the console.
  • Pull the console forward and up to remove the tabs on the bottom of the end caps, out of the holes in the top.
  • Lift the console up and lay it on its back.
  • Unplug the harness connectorfor the lid switch.
  • Insert a flat screwdriver into the front edge of the clip (located on both sides), and pry back. Remove both clips from the holes in the cabinet and slide down the other end of the clips and out the slot in the rear panel.
  • Open and hold the lid while grabbing the cabinet front opening. Be sure when tilting the cabinet that the back edge clears the vacuum break.
  • Tilt the top of the cabinet toward you by pulling on the lid and opening of the cabinet. This releases the back slots of the cabinet from the tabs in the back of the base.
  • Carefully pull the cabinet away from the base of the washer and set it aside.
Now you have access to most of the parts.
Now in front of you on bottom is the pump. It's usually white in color. Without taking it off the motor, make sure it is someplace where you can let the water run out of the machine. Remove the clamp from the wash tub to the pump and look inside. There may be a small garment or something similar inside. You can use a small needle nose plier to get to this and remove it. Reattach the hose and close the cabinet in reverse order.

Hope this helps you

Joe

It's normal to hear some water in tub, it isn't normal for the rubber wheel to be hard to turn, you need to replace the pump, they are much cheaper on ebay

Kenmore top load model 11022622100 washer won't spin fast enough to drain water

The spin cycle doesn't drain the water out, the spin cycle rings out the clothes. There is a drain pump that actually removes the water from the washer. If the tub is staying full of water check the hoses (2 of them) that come off the drain pump. Now if you mean the clothes are not spinning dry enough that is a different. Your Kenmore is actually a Whirlpool washer that uses what is called a DIRECT DRIVE COUPLER. It couples the motor to the transmission instead of a normal belt. Think of it as a Oreo cookie device.on the outside is 2 plastic pieces. Each piece has 3 plastic prongs sticking outward and each one will press on to a metal shaft. One goes on the motor shaft and one goes on the transmission shaft with the prongs pointing at each other. In the center between these plastic parts is a solid rubber disk with 6 holes drilled in it. The 3 prongs on each shaft go into the holes on opposite side to couple the motor to the transmission. when this part goes bad, either the prongs break off or the holes in the rubber disk wear all the way through. In either case the coupler would need replaced. It comes as a 3 piece set for about $10 to $15 and takes about 1/2 hr to fix if your handy.

Washer won't spin clothes dry enough

Dear Langley,

please do the following checks.

This may be a spin problem or a drain problem
Drain:
  • Make sure the drain line is clear
  • Check the drain hose for a partial blockage
  • Inspect the water pump
Spin:
  • Test the lid switch
  • Test the timer control
  • Test the centrifugal switch
  • Test the water level switch
  • Inspect the motor coupler
  • Inspect the drive belt (belt drive only)
  • Inspect under the washer for soot (clutch)
  • Test the motor
  • Inspect the pulley
  • Test the transmission

please rate this solution.Thank You Langley
