Please change your printer black cartridge

E5 signal is black cartridge demage E6 color cartridge demage

E5 flashing is cartridge not properly install or cartridge damaged

E5-5 = The ink cartridges are not installed or a non-supported ink cartridge is installed, or the ink cartridges are not installed properly

Unable to print

Does your computer recognize the printer as in you can see it connected on your screen? Try clearing the print que or restarting your printer and doing a manual print test page directly from the printer buttons.

E5 is flashing,when i use the fix it stops flashing but still wont print/copy.

Press Stop/Reset button for 5 seconds without release to press.... after 5 seconds your printer will start its process.... thanks

Printing test page at startup

Hi Monica,

You should have replaced new ink cartridges recently and since from that the printer must be printing Alignment test sheet. It means that you have not completed the alignment test.

Please follow below step to complete the test

Turn the printer OFF and then ON, allow the printer to print the test page.
Place the test page correctly on the scanner flatbed and press the scan button.
Now the printer ON light will start blinking.
Wait until the power light stops flashing.
Now the test is complete and test the printer again by powering off and on.

My canon pixma MP145 showed E5 and wont print anymore

I have been using black and color ink refills for sometime now, but am unable to use my printer since last week. It shows E5 and on the dialogue box is stated that it cannot recognize the COLOR.

Unable to print on printer Dell 926 -test page prints ok

Hi there,

Unplug the printer cable from the computer.
Unistall the printer drivers from Device manager and also unistall the all the printer appications
restart the computer
try to download drivers from the website
after installing drivers and software it will ask you to connect the printer.
then you can connect the printer and and try to Print the test page.

Ink Cartridge Refill Error E5

First take a smooth cloth or cotton
take a cleaning liquid like spirit, thinner etc., (note - not cleaners)
clean the golden chip with out giving much presser
in the same way clean the other side of the printer also
now test it

90% Problem will solve

ok...first...low color will do that blue effect..

and, you may need new drivers

remove old ones first

go here for fresh set

then reinstall
