I broke the paper tray on my Ricoh AP 2000; need a replacement

To re-attach the output tray long piece on the Ricoh SP C360DNw, follow these steps:

1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
2. Locate the output tray and the long piece that needs to be re-attached.
3. Align the long piece with the slot on the output tray and gently push it in until it clicks into place.

You have a switch stuck or broke in the tray that sees the paper look around youll find it.

better to have it checked by your technician to be able to replace a right part.

check the paper tray motors and gears and spring

Check the little black piece of plastic that senses the printed page exiting the machine. Our sensor was stuck and I was getting the same message (an similar Ricoh product). When I gently reset the black piece to center, moving freely, printing worked again. I think the sensor got jammed up when we were trying to remove a bad paper misfeed.

Ricoh manuals very confusing on this error message. They refer to standard tray, tray one, etc. without being clear whether it's a paper feed tray or the so-called "standard OUTPUT tray." The output is not really a tray, it's just the depression where your sheet lands after printing. I wrenched on the paper feed trays and their settings for an hour before I figured out they meant OUTPUT.

You should just be able to place paper on the tray and then select the bypass tray under "properties", "Paper", then under "tray" select "bypass tray" when printing.

sc 502 is the problem related to tray lift motor .open the backside of the machine ,almost downside u ll find one spring broken .replace tat the tray will start working.

The feed clutch for the feed tire is stuck on ... Replace the clutch

make sure there is no paper at the back of the tray.also make sure the tray lift motor is working.the last thing to check is that there is nothig broking of the back of your paper tray..
