Samsung Digimax s500 Camera takes awful, blurry pictures!!!!

Can you think of any reason why this would happen? I go back into pictures I've taken and one picture is clear as day, and the next is awful... Is there anyway that I can reset my options to make this better... or something else I can do?

You can try adjusting the exposure compensation, quality of the picture.

Just press the +/- button on the right side of the screen.

For the Macro mode, just press the flower button on the bottom part of the Menu/ Ok button.

Camera turns off when shutter button is pressed.

[source]Question about Samsung Digimax S500 Digital Camera[/source]
Try replacing batteries (high Ah photographic type).
The lens motor & electronics may be draining power if Ah capacity has dropped too low. At night, it could be that your flash is trying to fire (another drain), or shutter timer / mirror staying open longer.

Digimax S500

The lens stays in the outmost position although batteries are fully charged. This has happend twice. The first time I had a valid waranty so the problem was fixed for free. Now it has happend again and there seems to be no way to get the lens back into the camera. Also the display is totally black.
I guess I have taken about 500 pictures since the last repair. Not very much - even a cheap camera should last for longer than that.
Never Samsung again!!!
