By default there isn't one you need to use the serial cable and hook it up the console port and log into it with a terminal program such as hyper terminal or putty
If you are connecting to the switch using the console port using a console cable. Make sure your settings for hyper terminal are on COM1 and the baud rate is 9600.
If you are trying to telnet, you will need to assign an IP address to the VLAN in order to telnet into the switch and configure a password or it will not let you in.
If this is the type that plug into your mouse or keyboard socket, i think it should just work without drivers, try launching ms excel and place the cursor in an empty cell, then scan a card, it should read straight into the cell and give all the details on the card.
There is no need for drivers for this scanner. You will need to configure it using the barcodes from the product reference guide to use standard serial port. You can test it in Hyper Terminal if you set the com port normally to 9600, 8, n, 1. This should enable the scanner.
Make sure that you actually have the right cable for it.
