Slow Loading and Choppy Game Play with PSP

maybe your game format is CSO... CSO is a compressed file... which means a bigger time to load for the psp from the memory stick...use ISO.. but note that when using ISO the file is bigger than CSO and may be even bigger than its expected size

just press select button then u'll fine cpu speed make it default.

You most likely need to clean the lens. Local game stores have kits that clean it for you.

What Firware Do you have?
if you have Custom Firmware Hard turn off your psp and hold R whilst turning it on and in the recovery menu go to CPU speed, then change clock XMB back to default

Usually when the psp starts loading up it will make a loading up noise if you don't hear this its because your UMD driver is malfunctioning

Take a cotton swab (thing you clean your ear with) and go around the laser with it.

The psp is fine K?

What type of memory stick do you have and did you buy it from ebay or not?

Also are you using games downloaded from the psn store? Or are you using downloaded games??

Lastly what firmware version are you using?

The answers to these questions will help me to help the both of you.

There could be a problem with the circuitry, it might even need to be replaced or sent off for repairs, it shouldnt do that what so ever

Are you running with custom firmware like M33 or HX?

If so, you can switch your psp off (not stand by), and hold R trigger when you switch it on, it should bring you to the recovery menu, where you can setup your XMB cpu speed and Game cpu speed, both set to default will be fine.
