After installing batteries in the controller and inserting the usb stick into your PS3, hold down the home button (the round middle most button with a house on it) for a few seconds until the light on the controller illuminates. This is your indicator your controller is paired with your PS3 and should be assignable and usable at this point.
This usually means that your ps3 controller is no longer paired to your ps3, to re-pair them attach the controller to the ps3 using the usb cable, then press the ps button again when the ps3 is on.
pairing motorola h17 with Ps3. Go to settings then to manage bluetooth scan find bluetooth (enter passcode 0000) hit triangle connect.(only first part keep reading) Now go to audio devices section under settings and change imputs to the motorola h17. If you don't go to audio devices the bluetooth wont stay connected. It will connect for like a second and stop. This drove me crazy for a day until I discover the fix. now go back to manage bluetooth and connect bluetooth and it should stay connected > you will see blue circle.
Yes, this is correct. The PS3 motherboard needs to be kept with the original Blu Ray logic board, any other simply wont work. The only way you will be able to sort this out is to try and get hold of both the motherboard and Blu Ray logic board from another PS3. I would suggest looking for faulty PS3's where the Blu Ray drive is not reading games. You could purchase one and just swap your drive over.
I believe u have to do something with the up, down, left, and right right buttons.. read the instructiong manual that comes with ps3.. i had problem with this when i got the ps3, but its working great now. :P
if the ps3 reads ps2 games then it's a 60 gig,and has 4 usb ports rather than 2...if the controller works on a buddies machine and the machine freezes,it probly needs a service.
Sounds like the controller knows it belongs to the other PS3. It has already "paired" with one console, so that's why you're having a hard time trying to get it to pair with console #2, comprende?
Make sure console #1 is a "hard off", like switched in the back. Now flip your controller over & put a pencil or pen tip in the reset hole. ( Just to the right of the center screw hole.) NOW connect said controller with the USB to console #2. Hold the PS button for two seconds. All 4 lights will flash 5 times, then the 1 light should stay on, Boo-ya! You're PAIRED!
PS3 is The amazing device by sony but it has some common problems like disc read error, unreadable disc etc.... Good news is that these all problems can be repaired with the help of DIY Guides, one such guide available at PS3 Repair Blog
Have you attached the original blu ray board to the replacement unit?
That board is paired with the motherboard and will not work with a different one.
