Power supply to Mag 780 Model

I'm really stumped, I can't find a plug-in (socket) for the Power Supply
on my Mag Lt773s Monitor. Not in the back or underneath or by the
PC to Monitor Cord. Is the Power supplied by the PC ? through the
Monitor Cord ?

Might need som emore info here, as you have quoted 3 different model numbers in this post:
mag 780 model
LT776s
Lt773s

On the model I saw on the mag site, the power cord goes in just beside where the stand connects to the bottom of the monitor.

Hope this helps. Post a comment with accurate model information and I can help :)

No, it has a normal, seperate power cord. But the socket in the monitor is very small, it's a small round one. When facing the monitor from the back, it's located directly to the right of the monitor-stand, at the bottom-side of the screen. Just put the monitor on it's side to see it clearly.

It's all explained with pictures in your monitor's manual which you can download from the official website here: http://www.maginnovision.com/Support/Downloads.aspx?sn=464

MAG LT765s monitor, model 780; where do i plug in adapter

Sometimes the power adapters on flat screens face the floor. So, if you look under the screen under the stand, you will likely see the plug.

I bought a mag innovision model 780 monitor at a garage sale to use with my ACER mini laptop. This monitor has a manufacture date of January 2003 - it did not come with a power supply. Where is the power...

With Most Mag monitors, the plug is a simple 3 prong on the bottom side of the monitor. Though it isn't proprietary, it isn't a common power plug either. Radio Shack does carry this type of cord. Just look on the bottom side of the monitor itself. the three round plug "thingy" is where the 110v plugs in straight from the wall. Best of Luck!

Has no electrical connection -- no way to plug it in??

I'm pretty sure it does or it wouldn't have passed QC at the factory.

This monitor needs a power supply, The power supply plugs into a hole about half a centimeter across with a pin in the middle, You might actualy have to turn the monitor upside down to find it.

MAG 780 Innovations LCD Monitor

The plug end (to the monitor) is a partial square end with three top angles. That plugs into the back of the monitor. You can see the plug socket from the underside.

The socket for the AC power supply is located RIGHT ON the cord that plugs into your tower/graphics card. I just bought one today at the thrift store, ** power cord, but was looking for the input myself and found it there. Hope that helps.

MAG L765b Model 780

Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages.
Good Luck!
