Aspire one email is recieving the same email repeatedly

I have exactly the same problem - did you find a fix?

I am assuming that this is a new problem and that your email worked properly before this.
If your email was not completely downloaded it will not be deleted from your isp's mail server so the next time you check mail everything will be downloaded again.

Try going to your isp's web mail access. It is usually found on your isp's website. Delete all the mail you have already received on your Aspire. That should lighten the load so when you check mail again with the Aspire it will all download and then be removed from the server.

If your email has never worked properly on this computer you probably need to configure the setting in your email program that says some thing like 'remove emails from server after downloading'. It is usually a check box.

This have nothing to do with your computer, try making another email address, the emails are kept in the providers servers, so there must be a conflict with your username and the server. I suggest the same nick but with another provider; if were using msn, the try yahoo, or gmail, or aol, a different one. Good luck.
