Touchpad stopped working cannot move pointer arrow around screen

Hi,

Just check for the key combination on your key board (ex. Fn + F4 or F5..depends on the what key was designed for the touchpad), the touchpad might be locked.

If it is not locked, reinstall the touchpad driver, but it this still doesn't work, boot to Safe Mode to check if it does. Touch pad still not responding in Safe Mode would mean hardware failure.

Hope this helps.

TRYS TO BOOT REPEATEDLY, BUT WILL NOT BOOT.

When booting up, press the Delete key repeatedly, then select Default Settings in the BIOS, then press the F10 key to save and restart. If that doesn't work, try to get into Safe Mode and do a system restore to when the computer would boot properly.
To get into safe mode, press the F8 key repeatedly on bootup, then select Safe Mode. Once you get the to desktop, a box should appear, press No and it will open up System Restore. Choose a date from the calendar of when the system was working, and restore to that point. System Restore does take around 20+ minutes to complete, so let it run and be patient.
Good luck!

I forgot the safewell electronic code and didnt have the key

NOTE: The safe needs to be upright and right side up or the locking mechanism
won’t work.
ELECTRONIC SAFES
To open an electronic safe the first time, press the following numbers/letters on the
electronic keypad –159B. (These numbers are preset. You should change the code as soon
as possible after opening the safe to insure proper security). After you have entered the
factory set code, you will need to turn the knob on the faceplate to open the door. You will
have 5 seconds to turn the knob before the locking mechanism is reactivated.
ENTERING YOUR SECURITY CODE
To enter your own security code you will need to follow the steps listed below:
1. After opening the electronic safe (with the pre -set factory code of 159B) locate the
small red button on the inside of the door near the hinge.
2. Press the red button and then release it, you will hear a beep.
DO NOT SHUT THE DOOR UNTIL YOU HAVE CONFIRMED THAT YOUR NEW
SECURITY CODE HAS BEEN ENTERED CORRECTLY.
3. With the door open, enter your own personal security code, which can be 3- 8 digits
long, and confirm your new code by pressing the letter “B” on the electronic touch pad.
Before you close the door, try the new security code to make sure the lock release the
knob so you can turn it and retract the live action locking bolts.

If you can not get this open more then likely you will have to cut it open.. One last thing to try is to email safewell [email protected]

Good luck
