Upgrading
BIOS! If it isn't broken don't fix it. Upgrading is a scapegoat fix, and many
manufactures have a disclaimer. "You are on you own", and the likes for a
reason. Most solutions are found elsewhere.
However,
if you truly need to update read this to help you with the upgrade. You don't
want to end up with a brick.

Mine goes white when I plug it into my computer to charge and then the laptop is closed or the computer hibernates. I simply slide the power switch up to the ON position all the way and hold it there for at least fifteen seconds before releasing it. It then turns off. I allow 5 seconds and it turns on as ususal, no problem. This might not be your problem, but worth a try...
it should turn off if you hold the reset (on) switch in the on position for ten to fifteen seconds. if that doesn't work, try downloading the firmware update. but be careful, i had the same problems, and when i downloaded the update...it ruined the mp3 player, and sansa would not help
Please try to connect the monitor to another PC, if it continues to happen, then probably an internal electronic part/s of your monitor is cold soldered / defective which failed to send signal to other hardware parts of your monitor thus you only see white display. I suggest to bring the unit to an authorized service center fix / replace the cold soldered / defective part/s. regards
I contacted GPX. It's really easy.
With the left side button in the "off" position, press the "play/pause" button in the center of the circle for 3 seconds. It will then turn on. To turn off, do the same thing, and it will display "BYE" on the screen before powering off.
This was NOT in the instruction manual and they admit this was a mistake on their part.
Whenever i cannect it ,nothing comes up,nothing in "my computer" to click on.I update the driver for it,it works for about 20 seconds, then the device becomes unresponsive and i have tp update it again, which again it will connect for a short time ,become unresponsive, and then the update process. How do I keep my MP3 Player Connected. Also nothing is wrong with my USB chord.
try doing this and let me know if it goes into recovery mode 1. with mp3 off slide the hold button to on so it locks 2.hold down record button on left hand side and keep held down 3. whilst holding record turn mp3 on still hold down record it should now be in recovery mode if your mp3 player gets this far then it can be fixed. Once in recovery mode goto sandisk site and you need to goto downloads and download latest firmware for your make and model once downloaded it will talk you through how to istall this onto your mp3 player if you have any problems let me know ok
